Dr. Thomas Sarna is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who provides a full scope of services from simple removal of teeth to more advanced corrective surgery of the face and jaws. He has a particular interest in bone grafting and dental implant placement for rehabilitation of chewing function, especially in cases where few or no teeth remain.
Dr. Sarna went to dental school and was trained in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty at the Illinois Medical District in Chicago. He began in practice in a group in Chicago’s South Suburbs for 3.5 years. He trained dental students and residents at Midwestern University and Loyola Medical Center during this period.
In 2014, Dr. Sarna relocated with his family to Arkansas. Initially, he worked for a large orthodontic practice and traveled around the state to the group’s various clinics that he had set up to provide a concierge style of oral surgery. Dr. Sarna started Half Moon Oral Surgery in 2016. He also became the oral surgeon for the Fayetteville VA Dental clinic in 2017 where he works with the General Practice residents. He holds hospital privileges at Washington Regional Hospital where he is a consultant for facial trauma. Additionally, he provides free evening oral surgery support services monthly at Welcome Health Clinic in Fayetteville.
His hobbies include: running, weightlifting and exploring the great outdoors around Arkansas with his family.
